Beauty, luxury and glamorous!
This hotel is still something very special for me. After I finished my classical hotel management training in 1991, I went to London to work at the Savoy.
The beauty and the luxury, the cosmopolitan and glamorous just knocked me out! The Savoy is the only luxury hotel on the Thames. It has been at the forefront of the luxury hotel scene for 130 years, and its perfect location is at the centre of everything London has to offer. The Savoy is a legend. The rich and beautiful, the powerful and the glamorous have always come and gone there. Here they met their peers and guests who probably did not fit into any of these categories, but who found it exciting to be in the same restaurant, bar or lounge as the same celebrities that they had read about in the newspapers and magazines every day.
I can only recommend that those who want to feel this magic should enjoy the legendary Afternoon Tea or more at the Savoy. Let’s go to London!
